Overview

Social Media Uploader helps users connect YouTube channels, schedule video uploads, monitor upload status, and manage publishing workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how Google and YouTube account data is handled.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, password authentication data, workspace details, connected channel information, uploaded media metadata, scheduled publishing data, and operational logs needed to run the service.

Google and YouTube Data

When you choose to connect a YouTube account, Social Media Uploader uses Google OAuth to request access needed to identify your YouTube channel and upload videos that you schedule through the application. We may store OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, channel IDs, channel names, and related upload status so the service can publish and track your requested uploads.

We use Google user data only to provide and improve visible user-facing features in Social Media Uploader, such as channel connection, scheduled uploads, upload progress, retries, and publishing status. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, connect YouTube channels, process uploads, display channel and publishing status, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability of the application.

Sharing and Selling Data

We do not sell user data or Google user data. We do not share Google user data with advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. We may share information only with service providers needed to operate the application, for security or abuse prevention, to comply with law, or with your consent.

Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account information, OAuth tokens, upload records, and scheduling data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to limit access to data based on operational need.

Your Choices

You may disconnect your YouTube account from the application, revoke access from your Google Account permissions page, or request deletion of account data. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or legitimate operational needs.
